Pourquoi l'intérêt en L'oeil de Poisson? En 1997, alors que dans une implantation
des artistes au l'"Est Nord Est", je visitais Québec
et le Meduse fabuleux collectif. Meduse a une réputation
mythique dans l'ouest et j'étais heureux de voir les équipements.
J'ai été plus impressionné avec L'oeil de
Poisson et le programme d'exposition m'a incité à
soumettre une proposition. L'exposition à ce moment-là
a été créée par un artiste de France.
La galerie a été remplie d'oscillations balançant
au-dessus de ma tête. Chaque oscillation était arrière-a
allumé la photographie des bums couverts par sous-vêtements
se reposant sur les oscillations de verre transparentes. J'ai
aimé l'exposition et ai pensé à me, Car il s'avère, mes instincts étaient corrects. Au sujet de L'oeil est très sérieux l'art de Poisson intéressant supporter et les artistes indépendamment du langage. La galerie a produit d'excellentes publications et met à jour un espace fabuleux. Le personnel et le panneau sont amicaux et très serviables. |
Why the interest in L'oeil de Poisson? In 1997, while in an artists'
residency at "Est Nord Est", I visited Québec
and the fabulous Meduse collective. Meduse has a mythic reputation
in the west and I was pleased to see the facilities. I was most
impressed with L'oeil de Poisson and the exhibition program prompted
me to submit a proposal. The exhibition at that time was created
by an artist from France. The gallery was filled with swings
swinging over my head. Each swing was a rear-lit photograph of
underwear covered bums sitting on transparent glass swings. I
liked the exhibition and thought to myself, As it turns out, my instincts were correct. L'oeil de Poisson is very serious about supporting interesting art and artists regardless of language. The gallery has produced excellent publications and maintains a fabulous space. The staff and board are friendly and very accommodating. |
